Ilse is an all-round strategic communications professional, who helps businesses secure their license to operate by effectively building and maintaining trusted relations with key stakeholders. Throughout her international career, Ilse worked and lived in Brussels, the USA and the Netherlands. During her 20+ years’ experience, she spent over 15 years in senior corporate affairs roles, covering the full spectrum of corporate communications from public affairs, corporate and (crisis) media relations, CSR and community engagement, to employee engagement and executive positioning.   

Ilse is driven by impact. Her solid business acumen and track record of activating integrated communications strategies to drive business results, both from an internal and agency perspective, enables her to be a true sparring partner for company executives, as well as helping corporate communicators engage with all stakeholders in a relevant and meaningful way.    

Her sector expertise in communications spans (renewable) energy, petrochemical (upstream & downstream), mobility & transportation, heavy industries and industrial services, semiconductor industry, hydrogen and fuel cell technology and sustainability.  

Harald is a Director at Edelman with a focus on national and international business to business clients, including Microsoft, Booking.com, thyssenkrupp Marine Systems and AstraZenenca. Throughout his career as a communications professional, Harald has held senior positions at high-end communications firms as well as international corporations such as RELX. He has built up a strong track record in crisis and issue communications, public affairs, media relations and managing teams of communications specialists.  

With a degree in Law and Masters in Macro-Economics, Jacqueline started her international business career as a lawyer at Baker McKenzie in Amsterdam, before working for global leaders in banking and financial services including HSBC and JP Morgan where she became Head of Equity Research in Jakarta for the latter.  

Prior to joining Edelman Amsterdam in April 2019 as Director of Financial Communications where she heads up a team which advises private and public companies on corporate reputation issues and crises, corporate governance, IPOs and M&A, Jacqueline was Head of Corporate Brokerage at ING.   

She had also applied her direct experience of working for major institutions in European, Asian and Australian markets and formidable networking skills to senior communications roles at international agencies including Hill & Knowlton and Citigate, where she was twice nominated as M&A Advisor of the Year for the M&A Awards in The Netherlands.  

In his role as Director, Robin works for a range of clients in the areas of corporate communication, issues and crisis management, media spokesmanship and brand reputation. Robin’s main goal is to strengthen and protect the reputation of both the company and its brands.   

Robin has more than 20 years of experience in various market areas such as retail, banking, industry, telecom and FMCG. He recently worked for FMO, Shell, McDonald’s, Nespresso, Ahold Delhaize, Tata Steel and ING, among others. As a client communications lead for McDonald’s, he frequently assisted the board of this company with crises and issues and supported the spokespersons with contacts with the media.  

In Robin’s opinion, strengthening and protecting reputations can only really be achieved if the business strategy and the implementation of communication programs are seamlessly connected. Managing and supervising teams in this is an important part of Robin’s daily activities.  

Seema is Edelman's first ever Creative Director and member of the MT, who leads our integrated work for a broad roster of clients like: Microsoft, Princes Foods, Booking.com, The Student Hotel, Polar, Wolters Kluwer, Tinder, HP – as well as her awarded work for the skin disease psoriasis. Seema oversees a buzzing creative department and in-house production team and has also expanded her expertise as a film director, in a year when the agency has been recognized for its integrated work and won ‘Benelux Agency of the Year’ of the year at the Sabre Awards.  

Seema is keen on helping businesses transform for the better and helping corporates and brands to use the power of creativity to solve complex business challenges. Passionate about inspiring people to become more creative, Seema has also published two books on creativity and creative thinking, entitled, ‘Write Nothing in Here’ and ‘Read Nothing in Here’. 

Martijn joined Edelman with the ambition to develop integrated, creative communication and marketing teams that deliver result and data-driven plans built on data and insights. He builds creative solutions for national and international business to business clients, including Tata Steel Limited and Shell. Throughout his career as a creative marketing professional, Martijn has held senior positions at marketing agencies like Leo Burnett and ran his own creative agency in the centre of Amsterdam. With a background as a designer, he shares a passion for making beautiful yet understandable solutions for clients
